Now accepting applications for the Lake of Bays Community Fund

The Lake of Bays Community Education Bursary is intended to support high school students who otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend a post-secondary education institution. Successful applicants will receive up to $2,500 in funding.

The funding may be used for post-secondary tuition, books and school related expenses.
The applicant must be a high school student, residing in the Township of Lake of Bays.

As a Community Foundation operating on the traditional lands of the Ojibway, the Chippewa, the Algonquin and the Odawa, and home to three sovereign nations – Wahta Mohawks First Nations, Moose Deer Point First Nation and the Moon River Métis – we cannot walk in a good way if we do not honour all our relations in our communities, and actively work to address the impacts of colonialism on Indigenous peoples on these lands, both past and present.
