University Women’s Club Muskoka Scholarship Fund

The University Women’s Club Muskoka Scholarship Fund supports the advancement of education by providing bursaries to female students from Muskoka pursuing post-secondary studies. The fund helps graduating students from Muskoka’s four high schools, as well as eligible Georgian College students from the region, continue their education at a university or college.

Established to encourage and support higher education for women, the fund helps reduce financial barriers and recognizes students who demonstrate both need and potential. Through the generosity of donors, the fund continues to invest in the future of Muskoka students by expanding access to post-secondary education.

Commitment to reconciliation

As a Community Foundation operating on the traditional lands of the Ojibway, the Chippewa, the Algonquin and the Odawa, and home to three sovereign nations – Wahta Mohawks First Nations, Moose Deer Point First Nation and the Moon River Métis – we cannot walk in a good way if we do not honour all our relations in our communities, and actively work to address the impacts of colonialism on Indigenous peoples on these lands, both past and present.
